One of the benefits of attending College of the Canyons (COC), besides the beautiful southern California location, is that students can apply for Scholarships every spring semester! The COC Scholarship Awards is an annual program created ONLY for College of the Canyons students. The program offers a variety of scholarships based on academic achievement and financial needs. Students fill out ONE application that gives them access to over 200 scholarships! Scholarships awards range from $250 to $2500, and students are able to receive up to two scholarships.

Once the scholarship application opens, the International Services and Programs office offers workshops to help international students with the application process. To qualify, students need a minimum of 2.00 cumulative grade point average, be enrolled in at least 6.0 units at the time of application, and have completed 6.00 units before the spring semester.

Sociology Semi-Annual Book Award

The Sociology Book Award is an exciting opportunity for any student to submit current projects such as essays; poems; photography; multimedia projects; original film, video, music; artwork; or other projects related to current social issues. You don’t have to be a sociology student to win, and awards range from $100 - $250
